The atmosphere and the service is the first thing you notice when you arrive at the restaurant. It is gorgeous and cosy inside and the staff are fabulous. My partner and I started with two glasses of Champagne because it was her 30th birthday celebration, the best excuse to crack out the bubbles.
Starters I had Treacle cured Trout with caviar, my partner had Mushroom gyoza.
For mains, I had the rabbit (sensational) and my partner had the pigeon, we had a bottle of Pinotage from my home country of South Africa to wash this down with.
Desserts were squeezed in, I had the white chocolate popcorn cheesecake (YUM) and my partner had the Seabuckthorn dessert.
Then to make things even better they brought out a candle in some of their rhubarb pudding - which is her favourite.
What an incredible evening, highly HIGHLY recommended!
