Who knew fried chicken could be this good?

So me and the wife to be took a trip to London on Thursday 7th to mark a year before our nuptials. A friend of mine recommended a place called Chick 'n' Sours and boy it did not disappoint! After all, fried chicken with an Asian twist and a simple selection of sour cocktails? How can you beat that?!
We started with their disco wings in a Kung Pao sauce. Spicy, salty and crunchy....my mouth is watering thinking about them already! Next up, popcorn chicken with a seaweed dust that packs a real punch of umami as you crunch into the perfectly fried chicken. How could it get better? A sour cream and sriracha dip! Match made in heaven. Much like Pippa who lets me have the biggest wing.

For once, choosing my main event was easy. The K-Pop is their iconic dish and was in the top 100 London dishes to try on Timeout. It didn't let me down. Stacks of crispy chicken thigh, Gochujang mayo and Asian slaw with a fabulous kick of fish sauce. It really is the best chicken burger I have ever had, made even better by the fact that I am safe in the knowledge I could never replicate it at home. Don't believe me? Get down there and try it for yourself!
