The Witcher Book Series

I have wanted to write a blog about this for some time now, now with the series doing so well, I really hope people give the books a chance, cause they are amazing!

So first things first, there is an order I suggest you read these in:

1. The Last Wish

2. Sword of Destiny

3. Season of Storms (More about this below)

4. Blood of Elves

5. Time of Contempt

6. Baptism of Fire

7. The Tower of the Swallow

8. The Lady of the Lake

So with the Season of Storms novel, yes it was brought out last (most recent publication) but it does fit in really well where I put it. As it actually takes place within the stories of The Last Wish... but it is 100% worth reading if you want to know more about the Witcher.

I think the thing I love the most about the books is that you can get so lost in it, I constantly find myself imagining the monsters he is facing. I am an audiobook lover and I listened to all of these on my drive to work (best idea ever) and the gentleman who reads it on Audible, Peter Kenny, has a delicious voice. Personally I only really got into these books after being completely obsessed with the Witcher 3 game, then I wanted to learn more about it. Which I did and I am so happy about it.

Let me also just say that I LOVE the series. Basically, nothing about it that I do not enjoy! Bring on more witcher games, Season 2, the Animated story.
