Yoh this game, this game, this game. What a trippy game and actually quite scary… I would say up until the last 20 minutes of the game. I will get to that, but in case you didn’t know:
Until Dawn is one of those interactive games where you make choices in a certain time frame, with effects being wide-reaching (like the movie butterfly effect) - very similar game style, practically identical to Detriot Beyond Human. The story follows a group of friends who have to stay alive… Until Dawn on a mountain till they are rescued.
Spoiler Alert
So things I loved about this game:
The beginning of the game, you honestly assume that you are playing as these characters… wrong. Dead, just a shock beginning.
I LOVE the thrilling elements of it, the whodunnit.
The theory behind the Wendigos (thank you Supernatural), but I thought it was such an amazing idea for a game.
Switching between the characters so you get to know them all.
The graphics are pretty amazing when you think that Sam is voiced and portrayed by Hayden Panettiere and damn, it looks just like her! Also rather a big fan of hers since season 1 of Heroes.
The things I dislike are simple, I feel the ending was rushed, the build-up was amazing but the ending fell a little flat - I mean that happens quite a lot to be fair like you find an amazing game… only for it to have a disappointing ending.
